Digital Manipulation for College Basketball PlayOffs.

Spartan Stores was in need of a hero/header graphic for their Facebook page to represent family fun and promote eating food, all while implying they were watching the College Basketball PlayOffs. Evolving Creativity found a happy family stock photo from ThinkStock and a basketball. It was Evolving Creativity's job to composite the basketball into the family scene. Talented digital artist Johnny B Allen had the task to create the illusion the basketball belonged in the final scene. The basketball had to have similar lighting effects added to make it blend with the scene. The young boy's arm and fathers hand were masked out in order to paint in various shadow and lighting effects.

Logo Design & Photo Retouching for Margaux Drake

The logo was designed to help establish a brand for the classes being taught by Margaux Drake (Local Health Food TV Personality on WOTV) for Spartan Store locations, primarily the D&W Fresh Market at Knapp Crossing. The design was quickly created with little lead time.

The photos were provided by Spartan Stores from a 3rd party agency or photographer. Margaux requested that the photos be retouched before using in advertising campaigns. Evolving Creativity informed Spartan Stores we could make those beauty adjustments. These photos showcase our abilities for post-production photography work. The original photographer is unknown. 

Margaux Drake is WOTV 4 Women's Healthy "Eats" Expert and is also a regular contributor on eightWest WOOD-TV8. This Certified Raw Food Chef, Teacher and Trainer owns The M.Drake Company.

WestMichigan Star 105.7's Tommy & Brook Photography Retouching and Compositing

West Michigan Star 105.7's Tommy & Brook, local radio show personalities, requested promotional theme photos for their webpages and social media sites. Evolving Creativity's JohnnyB supervised the photo shoot while photographer Tim Stauffer used his Nikon DSLR to take the shots needed for the project. Due to a limited budget and time constraints we did not have access to an infinity wall. 

Using Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom Tablet Johnny retouched the photos of Tommy and Brook, removing unwanted wrinkles and pores, softening the skin, redefining eyebrows and eye lashes, adding additional color to Brook's lips, whitening the teeth, and removing unwanted dark shadows. 

He then created an alpha channel and extracted them both from the white backdrop using various techniques to extract their hair and other subtle details from the backdrop in order to composite them in various settings .
