West Michigan Star 105.7's Tommy & Brook, local radio show personalities, requested promotional theme photos for their webpages and social media sites. Evolving Creativity's JohnnyB supervised the photo shoot while photographer Tim Stauffer used his Nikon DSLR to take the shots needed for the project. Due to a limited budget and time constraints we did not have access to an infinity wall.
Using Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom Tablet Johnny retouched the photos of Tommy and Brook, removing unwanted wrinkles and pores, softening the skin, redefining eyebrows and eye lashes, adding additional color to Brook's lips, whitening the teeth, and removing unwanted dark shadows.
He then created an alpha channel and extracted them both from the white backdrop using various techniques to extract their hair and other subtle details from the backdrop in order to composite them in various settings .
